The release is the result of a scholarship project based on field recording sessions that Ane performed on her walks around her home town.
Each of the tracks has its unique style and contains bird voices, rustling sounds of leaves or rain drops falling on a gutter, but also lots of quirky acidic sounds of Swiecie such as traffic lights, machines at work or the tolling bells of St. Andrew Bobola church.
The first track of the release entitled ‘Folk’ features traditional folk instruments characteristic for the region of Kociewie, which include fife, bass, double bass, bagpipe and violin, all of which have been craftfully mixed into electronic music.
